Ranthambore National Park is one of the oldest and popular destinations for tiger tourism destinations in Rajasthan, India. It was once the private hunting grounds for the royals. The Ranthambore National park is bounded by the rivers Banas and river Chambal. Inside the park there are many water bodies because of which it doesn’t face any water scarcity even the scorching summers of Rajasthan.
The Ranthambore National park is thronged by the tourists throughout the year to catch a glimpse of the majestic predators in their natural habitat. For tiger sighting there are 1 to 5 main zones. Recently 5 more zones, zone 6 to 10 have been added to the park. In these zones 6 to 10 rare cat specie the Caracal is widely seen. At night there is possibility of sighting the Hyenas and jungle cats in the village areas.
How to reach here – One can reach here either by flight to Jaipur or by train to Sawai Madhopur Railway Station.
